Why is Viva's feeding amount different than mine?

Edited

When comparing feeding recommendations across pet food brands, it’s important to consider calorie density and how each brand calculates feeding guidelines. Many suggest feeding 2-3% of a pet’s body weight, which can differ from Viva.

With Viva, customers typically feed a bit more because our recipes are leaner (lower fat equals lower calorie density). This means your pet receives more protein, which is a more efficient energy source for muscle maintenance, immune health, and overall well-being.

That said, feeding amounts are just guidelines, so it’s important to monitor your pet’s condition, as their metabolism and food intake can naturally vary based on factors like activity level, age, and health.
